Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Assess and document patients' oral health status, including periodontal assessments and treatment planning. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and preventive care practices. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatments in compliance with regulations. Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic techniques relevant to the field. Collaborate with dentists in pediatric dentistry cases, providing support during procedures as needed. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications: Strong knowledge of infection control practices and medical coding related to dental procedures. Proficiency in dental terminology and systems used within the practice. Experience in documentation review and maintaining medical records accurately. Familiarity with assisting in various dental procedures, particularly in pediatric dentistry settings is a plus.
