Part-Time Dental Hygienist Wild Family Dentistry - Mendota Heights, MN We're a friendly, patient-focused general dentistry practice looking for a skilled and compassionate part-time hygienist to join our team. Schedule Mondays 8 am - 4:30 pm Responsibilities Deliver excellent, comfortable patient care and clear communication throughout each appointment Conduct initial mouth screenings, check oral health history, and update medical history Identify conditions like gingivitis/periodontitis, staying current on periodontal classification standards Perform scaling and polishing using cavitron and/or hand instruments Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene Take radiographs as prescribed by the doctor (Dexis digital xrays, digital panorex) Take intraoral photos with Mouthwatch camera Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe, compliant clinical environment Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental Follow strict infection control procedures, including aseptic technique, proper PPE use, and surface disinfection, in accordance with

OSHA/CDC

standards Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations in all record-keeping and communication Typically eight patients/day; primarily adult prophy/periodontal maintenance Qualifications Active dental hygiene license in MN Current CPR/BLS certification All experience levels welcome to apply Ability to administer nitrous oxide preferred Compensation & Benefits Pay range $64-70/hour, dependent on skills and experience Uniform allowance, employee dental discount after 90 day waiting period, 48 hours earned sick and safe time (ESST) Consistent one-day per week schedule with a supportive team and established patient base How to Apply Apply on Indeed or email resume to wildfamdent@gmail.com
