Qualifications Essential Job Functions:
    Oral Health Assessments:
    Conduct thorough oral health assessments, including for signs of oral diseases and abnormalities. Acts as an autonomous clinician responsible for comprehensive oral hygiene assessments.
      Teeth Cleaning:
      Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth.
        Preventative Treatment:
        Apply preventative treatments like fluoride applications and sealants.
          Patient Education:
          Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing and dietary recommendations.
            Radiographs:
            Take digital dental x-rays as needed.
              Record Keeping:
              Accurate and timely updates to patient records including documenting treatments and observations.
              • Assist Dentist during exams and procedures as needed.
              • Assist with patient transportation.
              • Communicate effectively with all patients, family members, providers, faculty, and staff.
              • Provide timely responses to patient inquiries; document conversations in the EMR.
              • Requires travel up to 100% of the time.
              • Must have own reliable transportation, good driving record, and car insurance.
              Minimum Qualifications:
              • Valid Dental Hygiene or Registered Dental Hygiene License
              • Valid Independent Certification and/or License to practice independently
