Responsibilities:

Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, or cavities so they can be treated as soon as possible Disinfect all dental instruments to ensure cross-contamination does not occur Prevent tooth decay by providing a thorough dental cleaning and applying protective sealants, such as fluoride Document patient visits and keep health records current Advise patients on how to properly care for their teeth after a procedure or operation

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in registered dental hygiene program preferred, associate's degree required Excellent communication and customer service skills Current CPR certification Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene Clear understanding and commitment to following HIPAA regulations and all safety guidelines Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures About Company Suchman & Darnall Family Dentistry is a well-established private practice serving Eastern Jackson County and the Kansas City area for over 50 years.
