Job Description
Overview We are searching for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our growing practice! $10,000 sign on bonus included! Your expertise is needed to promote optimal oral health, educate patients on dental hygiene, and support the overall success of our dental practice. You will be able to grow professionally while making a meaningful difference with each patient you see. Part-time and Full-time positions available Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take and evaluate vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration to assess patient health status. Assist with medical imaging procedures like X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols are followed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary recommendations, and preventive care strategies. Review and update medical records accurately while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality. Conduct patient assessments to identify oral health issues and collaborate with dentists for appropriate treatment planning. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice. Proficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care, education, and team collaboration.
