Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice Part-time working Monday through Fridays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality hygiene dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting good oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and the ability to work effectively with both pediatric and adult patients. Duties Stay on time. Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues. Review documentation and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the development of treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences. Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and staff. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized according to safety standards. Experience Dental hygiene licensure in the state of Montana Ideally two + years in a practice environment Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort are essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism at all times.
