Summit Dental is a privately-owned, well established dental practice located in Asheville, NC. We are currently seeking a full-time (M-Th) and part-time (flexible: 1 to 2 days/week) Registered Dental Hygienist to join our amazing, patient-centered team. The perfect candidate would be an energetic and patient-focused hygienist with a great attitude, exceptional interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail. As an integral part of the dental team, the dental hygienist's tasks include but are not limited to: Review and update patient history records Patient charting Establish and maintain exceptional patient care relationships Perform adult/child prophylaxis Perform diagnostic x-rays Perform periodontal therapy and perio charting Perform sealant placement and fluoride treatment as needed Sterilization of room and equipment Adhere to appropriate Policies and Procedures Assist the physician(s) and other staff members as needed Qualifications include: Dental hygiene certification from an accredited dental hygiene school Current NC Hygiene Licensure Maintain BLS, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control training as required by law If you are looking to join a well-established, patient-focused dental practice who prides itself on exceptional patient care and teamwork, please send your resume and cover letter to: office@ashevillesummitdental.com
