Job Duties / Responsibilities Review medical histories with patients or their parent/guardian Take dental x-rays as appropriate Perform teeth scaling and polishing Write chart notes and maintain accurate electronic health records Assist dentists with charting during exams Obtain parent/guardian consent for sealants and other procedures Present treatment plans to parents/guardians and obtain consent for procedures Write referrals and facilitate correspondence with dental colleagues as directed Maintain a clean and organized workspace Support the dental team with other duties as assigned Ideal Candidate Enjoys teamwork (our hygienists work closely with dedicated DA II's to assist young patients) Enjoys working with children and creating positive dental experiences Thrives in a bright, happy environment Professional, friendly, with excellent bedside manner Energized by a busy, active workday Requirements NC Dental Hygienist License CPR Certification Full Time and Part Time applicants accepted
