Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our small private dental office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and a passion for promoting oral health. You will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental hygiene services and ensuring patient comfort. Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients. Conduct patient evaluations, including vital signs, medical history reviews, and documentation within Dentrix Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Manage dental records accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring confidentiality of patient information. Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments. Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Experience Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred, with familiarity in using Dentrix software being a plus. Proficiency in dental imaging techniques and understanding of dental coding is advantageous. Knowledge of infection control standards, documentation review processes, and general dentistry practices is essential.
