Position is eligible for a monthly incentive based on production About the Position Beam Dental is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate, and skilled Registered Dental Hygienists (RDHs) to join our growing Jersey City team. We are hiring for multiple full-time and part-time positions and are looking for hygienists who take pride in providing excellent patient care while working collaboratively with the dental team. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, personable, dependable, and committed to creating a comfortable and positive patient experience. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care in accordance with state regulations and clinical standards. Perform thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review. Take and review dental radiographs as permitted by licensure and office protocols. Perform periodontal charting and assess patients for periodontal disease and other oral health concerns. Provide adult and pediatric prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling, and root planing as appropriate. Apply fluoride, sealants, and other preventive treatments when indicated. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive care. Provide individualized home-care recommendations and reinforce healthy oral hygiene habits. Identify and communicate areas of concern to the dentist and assist with appropriate treatment recommendations. Document patient treatment, findings, recommendations, and clinical notes accurately and efficiently. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Follow all infection-control, sterilization, OSHA, HIPAA, and office safety protocols. Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked hygiene operatory. Provide a warm, professional, and comfortable patient experience. Build strong relationships with patients and encourage continued preventive care. Work collaboratively with dentists, dental assistants, front-office staff, and other members of the dental team. Support the practice in achieving clinical, patient-care, and production goals. Participate in team meetings, training, and continuing education as appropriate. Assist with maintaining efficient patient flow and staying on schedule. Maintain professional knowledge and skills through continuing education and current best practices. Perform other clinical and hygiene-related duties as assigned. Compensation & Incentives $55-$60/hour , based on experience and qualifications. Monthly production-based incentive opportunity in addition to hourly compensation. Competitive compensation for experienced hygienists. Opportunities available for both full-time and part-time schedules. Some Saturdays required as part of the practice schedule. Part-time employees:
Benefits may vary based on scheduled hours and eligibility requirements. Qualifications Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the State of New Jersey. Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program. Current CPR/BLS certification, or ability to obtain as required. Strong clinical and periodontal assessment skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional, dependable, and patient-focused. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability and willingness to work some Saturdays.
