Dental Hygienist - Pediatric Dentistry About Us We are a pediatric dental practice which is dedicated to making dental visits a positive, comfortable experience for kids of all ages. We combine a warm, kid-friendly environment with high-quality clinical care, and we're looking for a compassionate, friendly Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. Ample time per patient to allow for quality care without rushing Privately owned practice (not corporate), single-doctor office Modern technology in a kid-friendly, welcoming environment Supportive clinical team and a practice that genuinely loves working with children About the Role We're seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist who loves working with children and wants to be part of a supportive, team-oriented practice. You'll play a key role in helping our young patients build healthy habits and feel at ease in the dental chair. Responsibilities Provide preventative dental care for pediatric patients Take digital radiographs and intraoral pictures Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care Assist the dentist with exams and procedures as needed Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Ensure exam rooms and equipment meet infection control and safety standards Help create a calm, friendly (and fun!) experience for anxious or first-time patients Qualifications Active Dental Hygienist license in NJ Experience with pediatric patients preferred but not required Excellent communication skills and patience with children Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient comfort We're looking for someone who is kind, reliable, positive, and genuinely enjoys working with children. New graduates are encouraged to apply! Pediatric technique can be taught, but your warmth with kids is what matters most.
