Position Overview Chapel Hill Dental Arts is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a motivated professional who enjoys educating patients, providing high-quality preventive care, and working in a collaborative and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities Perform dental hygiene procedures including prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, periodontal maintenance, and preventive treatments Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history reviews and periodontal charting Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and treatment recommendations Assist doctors with examinations and treatment planning Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Follow OSHA and infection control protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment Help create a comfortable, positive, and welcoming patient experience Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to support efficient daily operations Qualifications Active New Jersey Dental Hygienist license required Current CPR certification required Experience preferred, but we are open to the right candidate with a positive attitude and strong clinical skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Detail-oriented with a commitment to exceptional patient care Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Flexible scheduling with growth potential into a full-time role Supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunities for continued professional development Modern, patient-focused practice environment Equal Opportunity Employer Chapel Hill Dental Arts is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
