Join Our Dental Team Fallon Tribal Health Center (FTHC) is seeking a Dental Therapist to join our dental team and help expand access to high-quality oral health care for the American Indian/Alaska Native communities we serve. This is an excellent opportunity for a Dental Therapist who wants to practice at the top of their authorized scope while working as part of a collaborative dental and healthcare team. Under the oversight and authorization of an FTHC Dentist, the Dental Therapist provides preventive, restorative, palliative, emergency, and limited surgical dental services.

Compensation & FTHC Provider Incentives Starting Salary:

$123,943 - $147,992 annually All FTHC healthcare provider positions include: $10,000 Sign-On Bonus $5,000 Retention Bonuses after Years 1, 2, and 5 Relocation Assistance up to $7,500 Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for the employee 401(k) employer match up to $3,250 per year after the first year Generous paid leave 14 paid holidays Some healthcare provider positions may also be eligible for HRSA loan repayment/forgiveness programs and/or the Nevada HEAL Program. Eligibility is determined by the applicable program. What You'll Do As an FTHC Dental Therapist, you will provide a broad range of services within your authorized scope and written practice agreement, including preventive and therapeutic oral health services, basic restorative treatment, emergency and palliative care, oral health assessments, radiographs, patient education, and authorized limited surgical procedures. You'll work closely with our Dentist, Dental Hygienist, Dental Assistants, and other FTHC clinical staff to improve patient access, continuity of care, and overall clinic workflow. You'll also have opportunities to participate in community oral health activities, screenings, health fairs, school programs, and Tribal events.

Minimum Qualifications Applicants must:

Graduate from an accredited Dental Therapy program or other Dental Therapist/Dental Health Aide Therapist training program recognized for licensure or certification. Hold a current, unrestricted Dental Therapist license from any U.S. state or territory ; Nevada licensure is preferred. Obtain Nevada Dental Therapist licensure within six months of hire, subject to FTHC provisions for documented licensing, credentialing, or payer-enrollment delays. Be eligible for FTHC credentialing and privileging and able to practice under a written practice agreement with the Dentist. Hold current CPR/BLS certification or obtain it within 90 days of hire. Experience in Tribal health, Indian Health Service, FQHC, rural health, or community health is preferred. Why Fallon Tribal Health Center?
