We are looking for a reliable and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. We have openings in our Brentwood, Commack, and Floral Park offices. Both full time and part time positions are available. Our hygienists are able to focus on providing hygiene care. Dental assistants are responsible for taking x rays, preparing and cleaning treatment rooms, bringing patients into the operatory, and assisting with room turnover.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine dental cleanings Perform periodontal maintenance Perform periodontal therapy as indicated Complete periodontal charting and document clinical findings Review relevant medical and dental history with patients Evaluate periodontal and oral health Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and preventive care Provide home care recommendations Apply preventive treatments within the scope of dental hygiene practice Communicate clinical findings and concerns to the dentist Maintain accurate clinical documentation Provide professional and compassionate patient care Ability to work well with patients and other members of the dental team Previous experience is preferred, but qualified candidates with less experience are welcome to apply. Schedule Full time and part time positions are available. Candidates may work at one location or more than one location depending on availability and preference. Compensation $55 to $75 per hour based on experience, qualifications, and schedule. Our hygienists are supported by dental assistants so they can focus on providing hygiene services and patient care rather than taking x rays, cleaning rooms, or bringing patients into the operatory.
