Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional oral healthcare! Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring accurate positioning and image quality for diagnosis. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to empower them with knowledge. Assist with chairside procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, treatment notes, and documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Follow strict infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe clinical environment compliant with HIPAA regulations. Skills Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and record management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding to accurately document patient care. Expertise in pediatric dentistry practices and providing care tailored for children's needs. Skilled in dental equipment operation, X-ray technology, and medical imaging techniques essential for diagnostics. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, explaining procedures clearly while maintaining confidentiality per HIPAA standards. Ability to perform patient care tasks including vital signs measurement and patient assessment with compassion and professionalism. Healthcare infection prevention and control expertise to uphold the highest standards of safety within the dental practice environment. Pay:
