Applicant must be motivated, outgoing, and well organized. Position includes paid time off, and retirement. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients about proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Take dental radiographs (X-rays) using dental x-ray equipment while ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as softdent and dexis to document patient information accurately and efficiently Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding medical records Support general dentistry procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing equipment, and managing dental supplies Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials to practice in a clinical setting
Pay:
$43.00 - $51.79 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 32.0 per week
