SmileHaus is a brand-new, de novo practice in Hilliard focused on comprehensive, high-level dentistry, strong clinical standards, and true collaboration between hygienist and doctor. We want a hygienist who sees themselves as a clinician , not just someone who cleans teeth. You should be comfortable reviewing medical histories and blood pressures, completing thorough periodontal charting, recognizing and treating periodontal disease appropriately, educating patients, discussing findings with the doctor, and participating in co-diagnosis and treatment conversations. Our hygiene standards include comprehensive perio charting at least annually, including probing depths, BOP, recession, mobility, furcation involvement, and ALL other relevant findings. We also expect appropriate diagnostic imaging, including annual bitewings when indicated, annual PAs on implants, and CBCT imaging at appropriate intervals. We are looking for someone who: Is confident administering local anesthetic Understands appropriately treats periodontal disease Wants to be involved in patient care and treatment planning Enjoys educating patients Is comfortable with same-day treatment Is willing to help the doctor or assistants when their schedule allows Helps with sterilization and room turnover Is organized, adaptable, and willing to wear multiple hats May be interested in taking ownership of areas such as OSHA, supplies, or other clinical systems Truly believes in a team-first mentality Because this is a de novo practice, everyone will help build systems and contribute beyond their individual role.
