$58,000 - $69,000 $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Full-time, direct-hire opportunity Consistent weekday schedule Schedule Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM 4 x 8-hour shifts 32 hours per week Job Responsibilities Provide quality dental hygiene services under the general supervision of a dentist utilizing established dental hygiene procedures. Deliver preventive dental care, patient assessments, and oral health education. Assist with patient care, sterilization, laboratory, and office duties as needed. Participate in clinic and community dental health education initiatives. Work primarily with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Collaborate with a dedicated dental assistant during all patient appointments through an assisted hygiene model. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Average approximately 7 patient appointments per day. Required Qualifications Current and active Dental Hygienist license in the State of Ohio Current BLS certification Current X-ray/Radiation Safety certification Minimum of 6 months of recent Dental Hygienist experience Comfortable working with the IDD patient population Strong interpersonal and patient care skills Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of recent Dental Hygienist experience Local anesthesia certification Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) Why Join This Team?
