Job Description

Our growing dental practice is looking for long term temp/PRN hygienist to add to our team! We have a great team and are looking for someone will become an integral part of our team and grow with us. We need someone dependable and a team player with positive attitude. We are a digital and progressive practice and offer lots of learning opportunities. Compensation is DOE and skill set related and can be production based.
Job responsibilities are as follows:
Responsibilities Ensure patients comfort and address their needs first and foremost Perform thorough dental assessment and treatment under RDH scope of practice Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Take X-rays or dental impressions, give LA , explain dental needs Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Skills New Graduates welcome In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Valid license to practice is required
