Job Description

Our practice in McMinnville is looking for a professional, energetic, team-oriented individual to join our team who enjoys interacting and building relationships with both team members and patients!

Key Qualifications:
One year dental experience (preferred) CPR certified (preferred) Associate or Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene (required) Valid license to practice dental hygiene, issued by State of Oregon (required) Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment
Key Responsibilities:
Escort patients to/from the front desk and thoroughly "hand off" by explaining to front desk the next steps for treatment. Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's systemic health, teeth, bone, periodontal tissues and clearly communicate assessment to dentist and patient. Develop individual prevention plans for each patient based on exam findings. Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including but not limited to, quality x-rays, visual and tactile cancer exam, extra- and intra oral exam, fluoride, sealants, scaling and root planing, dental prophylaxis. Provide excellent oral hygiene techniques to patients through great communication. Maintain the highest level of professional excellence in a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment. Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms adhering to OSHA, CDC and infection control guidelines. Discuss patient hygiene needs with Doctor, to aid in development of full mouth treatment plan If you are committed to providing your patients with the very best care, are happy, positive, and professional, with the desire to be a team player, we would like to meet you!
