JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will deliver exceptional preventive dental care, educate patients on oral health, and support overall patient well-being. Your expertise will help foster a positive experience for every patient while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene practice.
JOB DUTIES
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and recommend appropriate home care products Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed, ensuring patient safety and comfort Assist with patient education on periodontal health, cavity prevention, and overall dental wellness Support the dental team during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring sterilization protocols are followed Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment area in compliance with infection control standards
SCHEDULE
Our office is open Monday through Thursday. This postion can be 2 or 3 days per week. Your choice.
JOB EXPERIENCE
Valid license as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations Proven experience performing dental cleanings and patient education effectively Knowledge of dental radiography procedures and safety protocols Excellent communication skills to build rapport with diverse patient populations Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control
