Job Description
Job Overview:
Well established private practice looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist, new graduates considered. Clinical proficiency, excellent communication skills and the ability to be a team player a must. This is a 3-4 day position Monday-Thursday. Led by Dr. Dean Gregson (known for being generous, kind, funny, and treating patients like his own relatives)Duties:
Advanced Technology:
Utilize modern clinical tools, text-based software workflows, to maximize patient health.- Preform Dental Hygiene procedures including but not limited to adult and child prophylaxis, scaling and rootplaning and periodontal charting.
- Take dental radiographs
- Review and interpret patient medical histories and take blood pressure.
- Assess patients oral health condition and provide appropriate treatment recommendations.
- Administer local anesthesia and or nitrous oxide as indicated.
- Place dental sealants.
- Maintain accurate and complete electronic dental records using Daisy software.
- Maintain strict infection control procedures.
- Collaborate with dental team to provide optimal dental care.

Licensure:
Current Oregon Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in good standing.Certifications:
Active BLS/CPR certificationClinical Excellence:
Strong technical knowledge of dental hygiene equipment, exceptional diagnostic skills, sharp attention to detail, and a gentle touch.
