Description:
Verber Family Dentistry is looking for a Full-Time Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our Camp Hill team. Verber Family Dentistry deeply values the role of our Expanded Function Dental Assistants. Our doctors recognize the significant impact EFDAs have on patient care, from assisting with fillings and restorations to supporting preventive treatments. By working closely with our skilled EFDAs, our team is able to deliver the highest quality care, ensuring smooth, efficient procedures and exceptional patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort. Take radiographs for diagnostics. Set up and maintain treatment rooms. Review and update patient dental records. Assist with placing and contouring fillings. Support in placing sealants and restorations. Able to complete coronal polishing, fluoride applications, and oral hygiene education. Sterilize equipment to maintain a safe work environment. Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients

What You'll Bring (Minimum Requirements): Active EFDA license for Pennsylvania CPR certification (in-house training available) PA X-Ray Certificate Strong communication skills to foster team spirit and ease patient concerns Knowledge of and adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control procedures A Plus If You Also Have (preferred, but not required): Prior experience using dental software, including Open Dental Apply today to become a key part of a dynamic, collaborative team at Verber Family Dentistry, where we prioritize exceptional patient care and professional growth.
