Health Services (Medical, Dental and Psych Svcs) Milton Hershey School (MHS) is one of the world's best pre-K through 12th grade private schools, where approximately 2,200 students from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided with a cost-free home and a top-notch education. Thanks to the generosity of Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, the school is fully endowed today, with the resources to ensure students can thrive. The school has prepared over 12,000 graduates to lead fulfilling and productive lives and is expanding to serve more students. We are seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist/Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) to provide preventive and limited emergency dental care to our student population.
Responsibilities include:
Deliver comprehensive preventive dental services (assessments, radiographs, prophylaxis, scaling/root planning, fluoride, sealants) Provide chairside oral hygiene instruction and nutrition counseling Participate in school‑wide oral health education initiatives Maintain compliance with
OSHA/CDC
infection control standards Maintain dental equipment and supplies Work across three school‑based dental clinics (Elementary & Senior Schools)
Schedule & Pay:
Up to 29 hours/week, Tuesday-Friday (7:30 a.m.-3:15 p.m.) Competitive pay based on experience and PHDHP licensure Part‑time benefits include retirement savings plan, EAP, free lunches while on duty, and local discounts
Qualifications:
