Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and enhancing patient experiences! In this vibrant environment, you will provide essential preventive care, educate patients on maintaining their dental hygiene, and assist in various dental procedures. Your contributions will not only help patients achieve brighter smiles but also foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages ongoing dental care. What you'll do Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments to ensure optimal oral health for all patients. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient care accurately and efficiently. Take and interpret medical imaging to support diagnosis and treatment planning. Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care and address any concerns. Basic qualifications Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry practices. Experience with OpenDental and Dexis software for efficient patient management. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and chairside assisting techniques. Preferred qualifications Previous experience in a dental clinic or office setting. Understanding of vital signs monitoring and medical terminology related to dental care.
