Join our dedicated periodontal team at Periodontal and Implant Center of York (PICOY) as a Part-time Temporary Dental Hygienist for 1 to 2 days per week for up to 4 months ending January 2027 . Play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' prior dental hygienist experience , possess a valid dental hygiene license, X-ray certification and a valid PA anesthesia license, in addition to outstanding customer service, attention to detail and organizational skills. Oryx or other dental software computer skills a plus. This position typically works 1-2 days per week on Tuesday and Thursday.

Our office hours are:

7:30AM- 5:30PM. Responsibilities Prepare patients for treatment including preparing treatment room with sterile instruments, supplies, and equipment following aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards. Apply preventive materials to the teeth Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Maintain accurate patient records in dental software, Oryx Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations Follow all OSHA guidelines Interact with staff in a cooperative and professional manner including to provide support to clinical staff, as time permits. Experience Requirements 3+ years proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting to include performing X-ray procedures and administering anesthesia Possess active, unrestricted license as a Registered Dental Hygienist; must be in good standing, with no disciplinary action or criminal conviction against it Current Local Anesthesia Permit from PA State Board of Dentistry required Associate's degree (or higher) from a dental hygiene program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) Current

CPR/BLSA
