Job Description

Our private dental practice is seeking a reliable, experienced, and well-trained Dental Hygienist to join us for a full-time position Monday-Thursday. We provide a wide scope of dentistry to our patients including General, Preventive/Perio, Cosmetic Restorative, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Implants. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two years of experience in all aspects of preventive dental care including prophylaxis, SRP, debridement, perio charting, restorative charting for new patients. The successful applicant will be able to assess all oral conditions and be able to reliably convey them to the doctor. As a Dental Hygienist, you are an integral part of our care team in providing support to the office and assisting the dentist with treatment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide excellent recall care , according to established practice protocols, and periodontal treatment including debridement, perio charting, and SRP as necessary. Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe clinical notes in patient chart Assess all oral conditions and be able to reliably convey them to the doctor in clinical notes (pre-diagnosis) Receiving and preparing patients for hygiene treatment Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patient's chart Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctor's schedule and patient flow Ensure the hygiene clinic maintains sufficient inventory Address patient's questions and/or concerns Other responsibilities may not be listed here.
REQUIREMENTS
Nitrous Oxide, CPR, Xray Safety Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) 2 Years or more dental hygiene experience Previous Military Experience preferred
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bilingual- English and Spanish Experience with EagleSoft
COMPENSATION
Daily rate, hourly rate, or straight commission (ALL commensurate with experience)
