Under indirect supervision, you will provide comprehensive preventive care, treatment planning, and education. Your skills in infection control, and medical records management will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal assessments with treatment. Conduct patient assessments by taking digital impressions, oral cancer screenings, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning. Digital Dental Office- Utilize dental software systems for accurate documentation review, appointment scheduling, and record keeping. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term oral health habits. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to OSHA standards to ensure a safe clinical environment. Qualifications Associate's Degree from and ADA- accredited dental hygiene program Current South Carolina Dental Hygienist License CPR Certification New Grads welcome to apply!! Certification in anesthesia is a plus Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate clearly. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards for safeguarding patient information.
