Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, provide preventive care, and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
Duties:
  • Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
  • Apply topical fluoride and sealants
  • Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for home care
  • Perform periodontal charting and document findings in patient records
  • Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
License/Qualifications:
  • Valid Dental Hygiene license in South Carolina
  • Familiarity with dental office procedures and electronic health record systems
