Job Summary Ray Dental Group is seeking a dedicated and skilled full or part time Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients while ensuring compliance with all health regulations and standards. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient management, and the ability to work collaboratively within a clinical setting. We prioritize providing our dental hygienists with the best tools for efficiency and patient care. We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time dental hygienists. Whether you're looking for a full schedule or a more flexible, part-time opportunity, we welcome applicants who are eager to join our team Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' oral health, including taking medical histories and reviewing medical records. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of maintaining good dental health. Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure patient safety during procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Assist in the management of dental records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with legal requirements. Operate dental equipment and tools efficiently while adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with dentists and other staff members to provide exceptional patient care. Utilize dental software for scheduling, documentation, and record management. Qualifications Valid Dental Hygiene license Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health, as well as infection control practices. Familiarity with dental coding and documentation review processes is preferred. Proficiency in using Oryx or similar dental practice management software is a plus. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative in individual responsibilities.
