Registered Dental Hygienist Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our Downtown Dental team! Under new ownership as of 2026, we're a modern practice equipped with digital intraoral scanning and CBCT. Duties Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures Take and evaluate full-mouth and bitewing digital x-rays Conduct periodontal charting and assessments Capture digital intraoral scans using our Primescan scanner Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and treatment recommendations Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Dentrix Help manage patient recall and periodontal maintenance scheduling Maintain instruments and treatment rooms in compliance with infection control and sterilization standards Collaborate closely with the dentist and team to ensure a smooth patient experience Experience Active South Dakota Dental Hygiene license required (or eligible to obtain prior to start) Current CPR/BLS certification Experience with digital scanning technology a plus; training provided on our Primescan system Proficiency with Dentrix or similar practice management software preferred Strong patient communication and education skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting Join us as a Dental Hygienist and become an essential part of our team!
