The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role involves performing a variety of clinical tasks, educating patients on oral hygiene, and maintaining accurate medical records. Duties Conduct thorough dental cleanings and periodontal examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth. Assess patients' oral health by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Provide education to patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care. Perform dental radiographic imaging. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment. Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on dental terminology and best practices in dental hygiene. Requirements Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice. Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology is preferred. Ability to perform dental imaging procedures effectively. Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate medical records. Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not required.
