Job Description
Job Summary MWTF 7:45am-4:30pm Tuesdays and weekends off. Paid national holidays. We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our dental office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a key member of our dental team, you will work closely with our dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality dental hygiene services to our patients. Responsibilities
- Utilize aseptic technique to maintain a clean and safe environment in the dental clinic.
- Assist the dentist with patient treatments, including scaling, polishing, and administering anesthetics.
- Perform routine dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and oral exams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories and treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain a rapport with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced dental office, using four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest dental terminology and technologies
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and exceptional patient care. Experience
- Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene or related field.
- Current licensure to practice as a dental hygienist in the state.
- At least 1 year of experience in a dental office setting, preferably in a dental clinic.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals.
- Strong knowledge of dental assisting procedures and aseptic techniques.
