Job Description

Spring Street Dentalcare is looking for a friendly, motivated, and clinically excellent Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team one day per week. This is an ideal opportunity for a hygienist looking for a consistent part-time schedule in a modern, patient-focused dental practice. Part-time Responsibilities Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care to patients Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing as indicated Take and review appropriate dental radiographs Perform periodontal charting and accurately document clinical findings Identify and communicate oral health concerns to the dentist Educate patients regarding proper oral hygiene, periodontal health, nutrition, and preventive care Review treatment needs with patients and help them understand recommended care Apply fluoride and other preventive treatments as appropriate Maintain accurate and thorough clinical records Follow all OSHA, infection-control, sterilization, and office safety protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked operatory Work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide coordinated patient care Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient Participate in maintaining the clinical standards and culture of the practice What We Expect We are looking for someone who: Holds a current Tennessee Registered Dental Hygienist license Has current CPR/BLS certification Provides excellent clinical care with attention to detail Is dependable and consistently arrives prepared and on time Communicates professionally and compassionately with patients Works well as part of a team Is comfortable discussing treatment recommendations and educating patients Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment Has a positive attitude and contributes to a healthy team culture Is willing to follow established clinical and administrative protocols Treats patients and coworkers with respect Our Ideal Hygienist The ideal candidate is someone who is clinically confident, personable, efficient, and genuinely enjoys building relationships with patients.
