Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team across multiple locations in Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care, clinical excellence, and infection control. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive dental hygiene services within a dynamic, patient-focused environment while supporting the overall success of our practices. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and other preventive procedures to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review, ensuring comprehensive understanding of each patient's needs. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies tailored to pediatric and adult patients. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols. Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review, scheduling, and treatment planning. Assist with chairside procedures using aseptic techniques while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout treatment. Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments, managing medical imaging equipment, and adhering to OSHA standards. Collaborate with dental team members to ensure seamless patient flow and high-quality care delivery in general dentistry settings. Experience Valid Texas state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Proven experience working in dental clinics or dental offices with a focus on pediatric dentistry preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable. Knowledge of dental terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes. Strong understanding of infection control procedures, aseptic techniques, and anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene practice. Experience in chairside assisting and performing vital signs measurement is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with excellent communication skills in diverse clinical environments. Pay:
$38.00 – $55.00 per hour
