Job Description

Dental Hygienist 4 ½ day schedule available Our office provides exceptional care and service with a primary focus on TMJ/Cosmetics/Reconstructive Dentistry. We have an excellent and highly trained team with very low turnover and are looking for a like-minded, long-term committed professional to join us. Competitive Pay Bonus Incentives Medical Insurance 401k with Match Key Responsibilities Clinical Care & Preventive Treatment Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis), periodontal scaling, and root planning Conduct oral cancer screenings and periodontal charting Take and process dental X-rays and digital scans Apply sealants, fluoride, and desensitizing agents Patient Education Educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and long-term oral hygiene habits Provide nutritional and lifestyle guidance related to oral health Treatment Coordination & Documentation Review and update medical histories and patient records Collaborate with the dentist on treatment planning Document clinical findings accurately in patient management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) Infection Control & Equipment Care Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA guidelines Clean, sterilize, and prepare instruments and treatment rooms Qualifications Licensed Dental Hygienist in Texas Current CPR/BLS certification Proficiency in Patient Management Software Strong communication and patient care skills Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a team environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand or sit for extended periods Monday 7:00 a.m.
