Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. •Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays•The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with patients to promote good dental hygiene practices, perform assessments, and assist in various dental procedures. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall patient experience and the success of our practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as necessary. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Utilize medical imaging technology to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable environment for young patients. Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe treatment environment. Document patient care accurately in Eaglesoft or other dental software systems. Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies. Skills Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental office software. Strong understanding of infection control procedures and protocols. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Familiarity with dental terminology and medical terminology for accurate communication. Experience in assisting during various dental procedures is preferred. Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments effectively.
