We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. Duties Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while ensuring adherence to infection prevention protocols Assist the dentist during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Dentrix for accurate documentation Maintain strict infection control standards by following HIPAA guidelines, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures Experience Proven experience working as a Registered Dental Hygienist in a busy dental office Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and medical imaging procedures Proficiency in managing electronic health records (EHR) systems like Dentrix Excellent communication skills for client interaction, patient education, and team collaboration Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control standards, including HIPAA compliance and maintaining patient confidentiality Ability to perform detailed patient assessments, medical coding, and documentation review with accuracy

Pay:

$45.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 per week
