Perform dental cleanings, scaling and root planing (SCRP) , periodontal maintenance, treat and manage gum disease ; including removing plaque, calculus, and stains from teeth. Recommending care to improve a patient's oral health Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning techniques Take and develop dental X-rays, adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride applications and sealants. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, from brushing and flossing techniques to dietary recommendations. Reviewing and update patient's dental and medical history, Update patient records, documenting treatments and observations. Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, supporting a smooth workflow. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring all equipment is sterilized. Stay updated on the latest dental hygiene best practices and continuing education. Promote a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring patient comfort throughout each visit.

Qualifications Licensure:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of

Texas Education:

Associate degree or higher in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

Current CPR/BLS certification.

Experience:

1+ years of clinical experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with digital dental software

Soft Skills:

Excellent clinical bedside manner, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
