Registered Dental Hygienist Full Job Description Job Summary:

(MONTHLY BONUSES) Wangsgard Family Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team located in North Ogden. We are looking for Monday and Wednesday. We start at 8:00am-5:00pm. Pay will range from $45.00 an hour. Single Column. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to perform dental cleanings, and provide oral hygiene instructions. Responsibilities:

• Perform dental cleanings, including removing plaque and tartar buildup
• Conduct thorough oral examinations to identify any signs of dental diseases or abnormalities
• Take dental x-rays for diagnostic purposes
• Administer local anesthesia as needed for patient comfort
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental hygiene techniques and technologies

Requirements:

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in Utah
• Proficient in dental documentation and knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
