Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team. We are looking for someone to join our team two days a week, Tuesdays all day, and Wednesday's half a day. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing thorough dental cleanings, patient education, and supporting overall oral health. Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar, and applying fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and dental examinations. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance their understanding of dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records within electronic health records (EHR) ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality. Support infection control protocols by sterilizing dental instruments, managing medical imaging equipment, and adhering to healthcare infection prevention standards.
