• Shift Details:
• + 8 hours shift, 40 hours work week
• Dental Hygienist Duties & Responsibilities:
• + GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation may be required.

+ Provide oral hygiene dental treatment and oral hygiene care and education in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.

+ Apply fluoride and protective sealants.

+ Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.

+ Provide nutritional counseling and self-care programs to prevent disease.

+ Record and review patient medical histories.

+ Uphold office policy including

HIPAA & OSHA.

+ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

+ Order and keep track of inventory as needed.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

+ This job operates in a medical/clinical environment.

+ This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, x-rays, and phones.

+ This job operates in a well-lighted, sterile environment.

• Minimum Qualifications
• + Dental Hygienist License. + X-Ray Certifications. + Anesthesia Certifications. + Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist. + GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy equipment operation experience. + Some locations require GBT Guided Biofilm Therapy operational experience. + High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene school.

+ Additional certifications may be required

+ Current, valid, and unrestricted VA license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

+ Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

+ Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .

BLS, N95

fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
