Hospital Dental Hygienist position in Olympia, WA for a 2-week travel assignment. Provide preventive dental care, maintain sterilization standards, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide preventive dental care, including cleaning and examining teeth and gums. Document treatments accurately in patient records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Perform x-rays and other diagnostic procedures with precision and care. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions. Maintain sterilization standards and uphold safety protocols in all clinical activities.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program. Current Washington State Dental Hygienist Certificate. American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. Familiarity with CDC sterilization standards and patient safety protocols. Knowledge of OSHA and WISHA regulations. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a team environment.
