We're looking for a friendly, skilled, and patient-focused Dental Hygienist to join our established private practice. We're a 1-2 day-per-week part-time position , with the potential to add days and grow into a full-time role as our practice continues to grow. But honestly, we're looking for more than someone who simply has the right qualifications. We're looking for someone who will fit our team. We have a genuinely great group of people who enjoy coming to work, have a good sense of humor, and don't take ourselves too seriously. We communicate well, help each other out, and enjoy getting to know what's going on in each other's lives. We also love getting to know our patients beyond what's written in their chart. Our office has a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere while still taking excellent patient care and dentistry seriously. We work hard, but we have fun doing it. We value people who are kind, dependable, curious, willing to learn, and who contribute positively to the team. What We Offer $50-$65 per hour , based on experience and qualifications Part-time schedule: 1-2 days per week Opportunity for additional days and transition to full-time Scrub allowance included A supportive, collaborative team that genuinely enjoys working together A privately owned practice where patient care and relationships are important A relaxed, positive workplace culture with plenty of laughs An environment where you can learn, grow, and contribute your ideas A team that believes good communication makes everyone's day better What You'll Be Doing Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and wellness scans with iTero Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) using proper technique and patient-safety protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations Build relationships with patients and help make their dental experience comfortable and positive Maintain accurate and detailed records using Dentrix Ascend Follow infection-control and sterilization protocols Work closely with the rest of the team to provide excellent, coordinated patient care What We're Looking For Valid Washington State Dental Hygienist license Experience in general dentistry or pediatric dentistry preferred Previous dental office experience Comfortable using technology and electronic health records; Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and preventive dental care Excellent communication and patient-education skills Someone who is dependable, positive, and takes pride in their work Someone who is comfortable asking questions, learning, and sharing knowledge with the team A good sense of humor and a personality that enjoys being part of a close-knit team Most importantly, we're looking for the right person.
