What You'll Do As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you'll play an important role in helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health through preventive care, education, and periodontal therapy.
Responsibilities include:
Perform prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatments Complete periodontal assessments and charting Take diagnostic radiographs as directed Perform oral cancer screenings and evaluate gingival and oral tissue health Educate patients on periodontal disease, preventive care, home care, plaque control, and the oral-systemic health connection Administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide as permitted by licensure Apply sealants and appropriate topical agents Take impressions when needed Assist the doctor during clinical examinations and accurately document findings and recommendations Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation Prepare, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain treatment rooms and instruments Help patients understand recommended treatment and the importance of maintaining their continuing-care appointments Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to provide an exceptional patient experience What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Holds a current Registered Dental Hygienist license Maintains current CPR and First Aid certification Is passionate about dentistry and the relationship between oral health and overall health Places the patient experience at the center of their care Communicates effectively with patients, doctors, and team members Is comfortable with ultrasonic instrumentation, radiographs, periodontal therapy, and clinical documentation Works well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Looks for opportunities to support teammates when needed Is organized, dependable, and able to manage responsibilities independently Brings a positive, professional attitude to the practice Compensation & Bonus Opportunities Competitive compensation based on experience In addition to base compensation, eligible full-time team members have opportunities to participate in: Monthly office profitability bonuses after 90 days Doctor production bonuses after 90 days Monthly longevity bonus to assist with health insurance costs: 3 months-3 years: $200/month More than 3 years: $350/month More than 5 years: $500/month Full-Time Benefits The practice offers a robust benefits and perks package designed to reward team members who grow with the organization.
