Registered Dental Hygienist 251 North Chelan Avenue, Wenatchee, WA 98801 From $40 an hour - Part-time From $40 an hour - Part-time Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care in a friendly, professional environment. In this role, you will utilize your expertise to promote oral health, perform thorough cleanings, and educate patients on maintaining healthy smiles. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming atmosphere where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience. Schedule Mondays, Thursdays, and every other Friday Responsibilities Perform dental prophylaxis, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, and preventive care to promote long-term dental health. Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in electronic medical record systems (Dentrix). Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of sensitive information. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental clinic or office setting. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and documentation review processes. Hands-on experience with infection control procedures and aseptic techniques within a dental environment. Experience with Dentrix for recordkeeping and scheduling is a plus. Ability to perform general dentistry tasks including patient care assessments. Strong understanding of anatomy relevant to oral health and the ability to communicate clearly with both colleagues and patients about treatment procedures.
