We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing dental cleanings, assessments, and education while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. Your expertise in dental hygiene procedures, infection control, and patient communication will help promote optimal oral health and foster lasting relationships with our diverse patient community. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, following best practices in infection prevention management. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans. Take and develop high-quality dental x-rays (X-ray) while ensuring proper radiation safety protocols are followed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health. Maintain accurate electronic health records using Dentrix, ensuring documentation review and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Monitor and manage infection control protocols in accordance with healthcare infection prevention standards to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Experience Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance management, patient confidentiality practices, and healthcare infection prevention and control expertise. Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their dental care needs. Pay:
From $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 33.0 per week
