If so, the team at Fay Dental is looking to add a hygienist to support their patient growth on Fridays (and may add days in the future)! What are the must haves to join the team? Ability to empathize and provide top-notch, positive, patient care while connecting with our diverse patient base. A degree or certificate in hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license. CPR certification. Certification in local anesthesia administration [variable by practice]. Responsibilities:
As part of our team, you will identify opportunities to discuss oral health hygiene of our patients as it relates to the mouth-body connection, including: Review and update dental x-rays and chart notes while maintaining dental equipment and x-ray machine. Record detailed narratives and probing depths for claims. Ensure
OSHA/HIPAA
compliance. Sterilize and maintain dental supplies. Successfully complete Scaling and Root Planning and/or Prophylaxis. Excel with placing fluoride varnish and sealants. Serve as a point of escalation for both patient and team relations. Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and the team.
Qualifications:
Current Certification from an accredited Hygiene Program. Current CPR Certification. Ability to learn our software. Our team is committed to excellence in all aspects of patient care and dentistry.
