Responsibilities Fabricate dental prosthetics including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances using a variety of traditional and digital techniques. Maintain and operate 3D printer systems (e.g., Asiga, Shining 3D, DentaFab, FormLabs, RapidShape, HeyGears, LuxCreo) to produce high-quality, esthetic dental restorations and appliances. Utilize CAD software (e.g., 3Shape, Exocad) to design and modify dental restorations. Nest and prepare designs using 3D nesting software to optimize output quality and efficiency. Maintain and operate dental lab equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness. Measure and adjust prosthetics with tools such as micrometers for accurate fit and function. Determine VITA shades and conduct quality control (QC) checks for all fabricated items, ensuring each meets lab and showcase standards. Requirements 3 years' experience in 3D printing. Demonstrated ability to operate and maintain various 3D printer systems including but not limited to Asiga, DentaFab, FormLabs, RapidShape, Ackuretta, and LuxCreo, and experience with 3D nesting software. Proficiency in dental CAD software (3Shape or Exocad). Familiarity with a wide range of dental materials and restoration techniques. Strong manual dexterity and keen attention to detail for producing esthetic, showcase-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Certified Dental Technician (CDT) certification. Proficiency with design software such as Autodesk Fusion 360 or SolidWorks. Combined skills in crown and bridge work, implant restorations, and denture fabrication.
