What You'll Do (Responsibilities) iTero® intraoral scanning — capture accurate digital impressions for Invisalign cases ClinCheck preparation & review — work with the doctor to evaluate and prepare treatment plans Attachment placement — precise bonding of attachments, buttons, and precision cuts Interproximal reduction (IPR) — assist with IPR as directed by the doctor Invisalign progress checks — monitor patient compliance, fit, and tracking; manage refinements Orthodontic records — take photos (intraoral and extraoral), panoramic and cephalometric X-rays Patient education — explain the Invisalign process, wear time, hygiene, and compliance expectations Follow-up care — manage the recall schedule for aligner checks, refinements, and retention Chairside assisting — support the doctor during orthodontic procedures as needed Sterilization & infection control — maintain clean and organized operatories per

standards Inventory management — keep Invisalign materials, aligner trays, and supplies stocked and organized What We're Looking For (Qualifications) Required 1+ year of orthodontic assisting experience — you've worked chairside with Invisalign cases Proficiency with iTero scanning — you can capture a full arch scan independently Experience with attachment placement — bonding, buttons, and precision cuts Knowledge of ClinCheck software — able to review and discuss treatment stages with the doctor Team player mindset — you jump in to help without being asked Energy and enthusiasm — you bring positive energy to the clinic every day X-ray certification (RDA or CDA) — current and in good standing Preferred (NOT required — we'll support your growth) Experience with Invisalign's Doctor Portal and submission process Familiarity with IPR techniques Bilingual (Spanish, Hindi, Gujarati, or other languages) Experience with braces or traditional brackets Open Dental software experience

Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring all dental equipment is sterilized and maintained according to infection prevention protocols. Educate patients on Invisalign care, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment instructions to promote optimal results. Take and develop dental x-rays, including intraoral and panoramic images, adhering to radiation safety standards. Manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft while maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Perform dental instrument processing and sterilization procedures following aseptic techniques to ensure clinical safety. Support the dental team with chairside assisting during general dentistry procedures, including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry as needed. Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist with medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control policies and OSHA standards. Utilize advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners and patient management software to enhance treatment planning and patient experience. Requirements Current certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) with active licensure. Invisalign certification or training completed within the past two years; experience with Invisalign preferred. Proficiency in dental PMS for accurate documentation and scheduling. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and data security. Experience in orthodontic procedures. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and dental equipment operation. Strong understanding of infection prevention management, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about treatment plans. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
